Peeping Through a Leaf

Hello

Let me introduce myself.   I'm Liane Allison (formally known as Liana Allison; long story for another time).

I have been that woman struggling with my confidence when it came to getting back in the saddle.

After a 25 year break from riding I decided to get serious and start to enjoy my passion for horses again. I had ridden a few times in that 25 years, but I came off more often then I stayed in the saddle. My confidence was decimated.

Using my nearly 20 years of coaching experience, and with the help of my own coach, I can say I am loving this journey on horseback again.

My dream to own a Quarter Horse, be successful in the competitive Arena has all come true, with determination, hard work and dedication to doing whatever it takes.

I am so happy to be helping others regain that confidence and joy for their return to riding horses, or helping newbies become confident and relaxed with their beautiful horses.

My Story

I have been a Coach and Mentor for over 20 years and it is my purpose in life to help you gain confidence, emotional empowerment and clear thoughts.

My passion is horse riding (for pleasure and in completion). I have experienced how my confidence effected the pleasure I received from this passion.

I'm a country girl, having grown up in the bush of northern South Australia, and the desire to have our own block of land a few sheep, a horse (or two  lol), dogs and wide open space had never left me.

After a journey all over Australia, with different business, homes and jobs I ended up back in Adelaide in 2019 due to my Dad's poor health. My parents needed me so I stayed until he passed. He was laid to rest on the day the Covid restrictions started, so I stayed.

I somehow managed to get a job in 2020 and started working towards my ideal life.

In the last 3 years it has all started coming together, with a lot of work and uncomfortable action taking. I am now married to my wonderful husband, Steve, we live on 30 acres in the Adelaide Hills, we have 2 dogs, 19 sheep (soon to be a few more as the lambs are about due) and 2 horses. We love our life.

I had ignored my desire to ride consistently for 30 years and once I hit 60 and recognised I had let my body go with the addition of an unwelcome extra 12 kg which had 'somehow' appeared over the last 2 years. I had reached a point in life where I had to make a choice.

I chose my health and well-being over my comfort zone.

I found a horse, trainer and got stuck into doing the work to live the dream of competing in the equestrian world.

With the success I've had I started thinking, why not use my skills to help other women wanting the same thing. To be able to ride and/ or compete, who want to step into a dream that hasn't quite come to fruition?

So here I am offering you the support and experience I have so you to can succeed in your goals and life so much more easily than doing it on your own.

We all need help along the way.

I know how this can change your life for the better and I want to help you be the best you that you want to be.
